VFRC Research Agenda

Plant growth is determined by complex and interacting biological, ecological, physical and chemical processes. In order to develop more effective fertilizers, these fundamental processes need to be understood and systematically disentangled. A research agenda based on such a systematic approach will lead to highly targeted research within the context of the overall production system.

Such a science-based systematic overview along with an assessment of the quantitative impact of possible interventions will help prioritize the VFRC’s research agenda. To learn more about possible interventions, please see the VFRC Cockpit.

These interventions have been grouped in categories and are explained in the VFRC Cockpit. The following VFRC Reports begin with high-priority agenda items and reach into various overviews of processes and possible fertilizer interventions.
